Shopping for a Green Christmas

 3rd Nov 2010

A Bournemouth Resident-Steve MaskellDorset Wildlife Trust is inviting people to shop for a Green Christmas this year. The conservation charity has an exclusive new set of stunning Christmas cards for 2010 as well as a wide range of wildlife gifts on sale at a series of Coffee Mornings during the run-up to Christmas, with all proceeds going straight to conservation work in Dorset.

What can I buy for christmas?

Fiona Sansom, Supporter Development Manager at Dorset Wildlife Trust, said: “This year we have chosen some unique images of Dorset that are hard to resist. They feature outstanding photography from last year’s snowy winter and we are very grateful to local photographers Steve Maskell, Ray Beer and Mike Kempsey for giving these images to raise money for wildlife.”

All the cards as well as wildlife gifts for all ages are on sale online and at Coffee Mornings around the county. Fiona added: “This will be an opportunity to shop early for Christmas in comfort and enjoy a cup of coffee with your friends. We are very grateful to our members right across the county for making these events possible and so enjoyable. Make it a Green Christmas this year by buying for wildlife either in the comfort of your home or in just one shopping trip with us, saving your carbon footprint!”
