Time to Toddle

 22nd May 2009

BenEllen square NICKY HOARFamilies are being invited to sign up for a Wildlife Toddle on 6th June at Dorchester Borough Gardens.  For its People and Wildlife Day, one of the BBC Breathing Places 'Dirty Weekend' events across the country, Dorset Wildlife Trust is hosting a 1km walk around the park for little ones to get involved in.

Kizzy Brown, Marketing and Fundraising Manager at Dorset Wildlife Trust, said: "It's quite a challenge for short legs, but there will be activities along the way and things to do. "

It costs £5 to take part in the toddle and the rest of the event is free. In return, the children will receive a certificate and a goody pack for taking part. And you buy one and get Mum free! (Or the adult of your choice).  Kizzy adds: "All funds raised on the day will go towards ensuring that we keep Dorset beautiful for generations to come.  These little ones deserve to have the chance to enjoy our wildlife and scenery when they have little ones of their own."

The Wildlife Toddle is on Saturday 6th June at Dorchester Borough Gardens at the People and Wildlife Day.  You can toddle any time between 11 am and 3 pm.  To sign up, contact Kizzy on 01305 264620 or email .
