A new Group for young people in East Dorset!

 17th Jun 2009

Team AlphaDorset Wildlife Trust is now offering an opportunity for young people in East Dorset to get stuck into conservation in their area.  The project is aimed at 16 -25 year olds and will provide the chance to spend time carrying out practical work such as construction work or clearing scrub to make their community a better place to live in.  There will be walks around local Nature Reserves, moth trapping sessions and also the opportunity to transform youth and community centre gardens into wildlife havens!

Young people in the 16 - 25 years age range are invited to join the East Dorset Conservation Group, and we would also like to hear from Youth Group leaders and Community Groups that would be interested in working with Dorset Wildlife Trust to enhance their sites by building bird boxes, digging ponds, planting wildlife friendly plants amongst other great activities.
