Are you 16-25 years old and living in the Bournemouth, Poole or Christchurch area? If so, Dorset Wildlife Trust is offering you the chance to volunteer with them on Sunday 21st February on beautiful Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour. Young volunteers will spend the day learning about the surrounding environment and helping to protect the wildlife of the Island by taking part in conservation work.
Dorset Wildlife Trust manages just under half of the National Trust owned island as a nature reserve, including the internationally important lagoon, the pine woods that are home to Britain’s native red squirrel and the reedbeds and alder carr haven for water voles, kingfishers and water rails.
