Coffin plantation Lorton Meadows (Photo by Dorset Wildlife Trust)Teenagers are invited to get outdoors and help wildlife at Lorton Meadows Nature Reserve this half term. Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Young Peoples Conservation Task day gives the 13-16 year olds the chance to enjoy outdoor practical work, learn new skills, have fun and make new friends. Tasks include clearing weeds and scrub to help restore wildlife habitats in the beautiful Lorton Valley near Weymouth.

Teenagers contribute to healthy wildlife
