Dorset Greenwood Tree Project Competition
We are fascinated by trees, especially big old gnarled ones. Veteran trees are ones that make you go "Wow"! They are of interest for wildlife, historically and culturally because of their age, size and condition.
Get involved with a new book to celebrate the county's veteran trees. The book will focus on the biological, historical and cultural importance of these magnificent Dorset ancients.
Send us your tree related quote, poem, short story, drawing, painting or photograph (historical or modern) and they may get included in the book.
The competition will provide a great opportunity for people to document their thoughts, pictures and stories, with the possibility that it might be published.
