Gifts in Wills...
Together, we are able to turn your compassion into action!
Dorset Wildlife Trust relies on the generosity of the local community for vital support. For some, the best way to support us is to leave a gift in a Will.
Why is your gift important?
Mrs. Joan Shewring recently left us a legacy of which a part has already been used to purchase an overlooked and threatened meadow in Kingcombe, now protected and managed for a range of rare animals and plants. A plaque in her honour at the gate recognises her gift.
After providing for those you care for, please consider leaving just a small proportion of what’s left over - these gifts have never been more important to us.
Legacies from our supporters like you have made a huge difference to our work, helping us to acquire and manage some of the best nature reserves in the UK and conserve local habitats and species such as emerald damselfly, red squirrel and kingfisher.
Thank you for considering supporting
Dorset Wildlife Trust through a gift in your Will
We appreciate that leaving a gift in a Will is a big decision and we promise to respect you and your choices. The information booklet outlines our commitment to Dorset’s environment and you and how to make a gift in your Will.
Once you have made your decision to leave a gift in your Will we would find it very useful to know so we can plan confidently for the future, by contacting Jodi Hibbard, or by completing an online form which gives us the opportunity to say a personal thank you.
If you would like any further information I am always on hand to help.
