What is Grazing Animals Brokerage?
- A database of animals without sites to graze and grassland without animals.
- Works like a grazing "dating agency" which puts graziers in touch with landowners who require grazing.
- It may include other related elements such as livestock handling equipment and expertise.
Who can register on the database?
- Anyone who has stock; sheep, cattle, ponies, goats, alpacas and is willing for them to graze land outside their holding.
- Anyone who has land that is under-grazed, overstocked or is looking for a grazier.
- Also anyone who is interested in joining a "lookers" database.
What are lookers?
- Lookers are people who are willing to check stock on behalf of the grazier.
- We can organise training courses for lookers.
