Making a donation to Dorset Wildlife Trust is a special way of remembering someone

Whether you’re honouring a family’s request for donations instead of funeral flowers, or simply marking an anniversary or a special date, there are many different ways to make a gift in memory of a loved one.

A personal gift in-memory can be made at any time and could be a lasting tribute to your loved one's favourite place or a cause close to their heart.

Dorset Wildlife Trust is entirely dependent on the support of people like you so whatever your contribution - large or small, please be assured your gift will be put to work immediately.

It is always difficult to lose a loved one...

We all want to keep those special memories alive and it’s easier when you are surrounded by like-minded people. By donating in lieu of flowers, you can remember a loved one through a lasting gift that leaves that will make a positive difference to the biodiversity of Dorset.

Thank you for thinking of the Dorset Wildlife Trust at this difficult time.

Making an in-memoriam donation

You can make an in-memoriam donation online today or by calling 01305 213184 using a credit or debit card. Alternatively, you or your funeral director can send your donation into us at Dorset Wildlife Trust, Brooklands Farm, Forston, Dorchester Dorset DT2 7AA

Please remember to include the name of the person you are donating in memory of, and your contact details, so we can say thank you.

How do you honour the landmark moments and people in your life?

Dorset Wildlife Trust is about preserving memories.  Every day we are creating history for the generations that will follow.  It is important that we take time to remember special people and events in our lives.  This is also a beautiful way to make an in-memoriam tribute to an important person in your life as well as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, the birth of a child and any other major life event can be acknowledged through the donation of a memory bench or a tribute fund.

Dorset Wildlife Trust staff members are always here to help. If you have any questions, please contact: Jodi Hibbard on 01305 264620 or email:

Online Book of Remembrance

Memories are some of the most important aspects of our lives, therefore we would like to include your love ones in our online ‘Book of Remembrance’. We believe that the book provides a means by which you can share and celebrate those memories with relatives and friends around the world, thereby preserving your treasured memories for both current and future generations.
