With signs of spring already appearing across Dorset, love is in the air and the latest e-Valentine card from Dorset Wildlife Trust is raising awareness of the plight of one of Dorset’s most lovable animals, the native red squirrel.

West Dorset’s coastal wildlife comes under the spotlight at Dorset Wildlife Trust’s expert-guided walk at Charmouth, looking at the different habitats on this important stretch of coastline. The free event is aimed at people who would like to get involved in the new marine volunteers group in west Dorset as well as current volunteers.

Now Dorset Wildlife Trust is offering the chance to find out more about marine biology and conservation while volunteering at the Fine Foundation Marine Centre, Kimmeridge Bay.
