The Jurassic Challenge - 50 Miles in 50 Hours!

Join us on a weekend to remember, as we endeavour to walk 50 miles
of the Jurassic Coast in under 50 hours as part of a 50 for 50 Challenge!

The Walk Details

Saturday 2nd July

7 am - Challengers gather at West Bay, Bridport to commence walk. Distance on first day 27 miles. Large Packs and Tents will be transported to Ringstead by road.

Overnight

Camping at Ringstead Bay. Pitch Tents at South Down Farm by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Wilkinson. BBQ evening meal provided.

Sunday 3rd July

7am - Breakfast provided. Distance on second day 23 miles. Large Packs and Tents will be transported to Durlston by road. Challenge finishes at Durlston Country Park, Swanage.

More Information

• There will be check points each day along the route.
   
• Challengers will be required to provide their own lunches/drinks and a First Aid kit. Drinking water will be available at the campsite and also at the check points along the route each day.
   
• There will be vehicle support but the route takes the coastal path and there are areas where no vehicle access is possible. Challengers are asked to bring a mobile phone and emergency numbers will be provided.
