Membership Recruiter - Fixed Term Contract

Expected earnings of around £4000 for the contract term
Working as part of a team, the successful applicant will be required to gain memberships and donations for the charity.

The role involves calling house to house in targeted areas and talking to members of the public about Dorset Wildlife Trust and the benefits of membership.  Some administrative and organisational skill will be needed, but the most important qualities are patience and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.

You will cover an agreed area but could be asked to work anywhere within Dorset. Access to your own transport is essential.

This is not a sales job, but in order to be successful, you must be able to 'make the ask'.

We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time (up to 21 hrs/week) membership recruiter.  You will be working afternoons and early evenings three to five days per week with regular daytime support and training. With commission you can earn over £10 per hour.

Previous fundraising experience would be advantageous but not essential as we will provide training and ongoing support.
