LATEST NEWS
Well, we made it to the finish of the Sponsored Cycle Treasure Hunt, despite the heavy rain and awesome hills of west Dorset. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored me and my husband as team Golden Arrows and to all the other riders who took part. More fundraising events
It's an exciting time on our reserves at the moment with bluebells, yellow archangel and orchids blooming. The dawn chorus is in full swing as the bird nesting season really gets going. On my own 'reserve', robins are nesting in a peg bag in my carport, after removing all the pegs! Let us know if you have any unusual nests in your garden or workplace. report your sightings

Hot news - as of today you can watch our kestrel pair live in their nest box at Lorton Meadows nature reserve. No eggs yet but it could happen any time now. Beware - you may get hooked!

Peacock Worms off Brownsea
Divers on a Seasearch training weekend were lucky to see these spectacular peacock worms just off Pottery Pier on Brownsea Island . DWT's Peter Tinsley was really pleased to get this photo, especially as it shows just what fantastic native wildlife is hidden in Poole Harbour. The worms use these fan-like tentacles, about the size of a hand, to filter their food. Don't forget to check out wildlife to see this month
