Phil Smith is collecting metal for recycling to help raise funds for East Dorset Bat Rescue & Rehabilitation. They would appreciate any old electrical garden or household equipment to be donated to them for recycling to raise funds.
What is EDBRR?
East Dorset Bat Rescue & Rehabilitation (EDBRR) is a small group of volunteers who are able to provide a 24 hour rescue service for the public when they find a bat in trouble. Their aim is to return as many bats as possible back to the wild providing they meet the pre-release criteria thus proving that the bat is fit and able to support itself in the wild independently.
What can be donated?
Electrical mowers, PCs, old TVs anything with circuit boards, copper electric wiring etc. They also take old aluminium step ladders, old brass taps, carpet gripper rods made of aluminium etc.
How to donate
Collection can be arranged but may take time due to petrol costs etc and the need to time visits with other road trips.
If you have anything you would like to donate please contact DBG at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will pass the details onto Phil Smith.
