Dorset Wildlife Trust has a wide range of volunteer opportunities across the County. Many of these are run as volunteering tasks and are listed in the events pages. For more information on volunteering please see our Volunteering HQ section.
From April 2018, five of the South West Wildlife Trusts, Avon, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire will be offering 9-month long traineeships in nature conservation which come with a bursary of £1,000 per calendar month and a full training package as part of Wild Paths, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Skills for the Future programme.
The Wildlife Trusts are keen to reflect the diversity of the British community within our workforce and applications from under-represented groups, for example people from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME) background or people with disabilities are particularly welcome to apply.
