Dorset Wildlife Trust is looking for new volunteers from the local area to join our lively and welcoming team at the Fine Foundation Wild Seas Centre, Kimmeridge.

They will help man the visitor centre, assist the staff in leading school visits and public seashore events, and promote support for the marine environment and its conservation in a variety of ways. Volunteers must be reliable; enthusiastic about our marine and coastal environment; able to talk to and engage visitors; and work well with other volunteers in the team.

A minimum of 2 days per month of your time is required in return for a free programme of regular talks, activities and events to broaden your knowledge about the wildlife and heritage of the area and its conservation. Click here to download a copy of the role description.

A limited number of places are available so if you would like to find out more, book your place and come along to our introductory session at the Wild Seas Centre on 10th February, for a chance to meet the staff and volunteers who will be happy to answer your questions. There will also be an opportunity to apply for the volunteer positions.
