About the event

Following the amazing support from you and the local community, the successful land purchase within Upton Heath provides a plot which promises an extension of precious and rare heathland habitat.

Join Dorset Wildlife Trust and your local community at the start of a clean-up effort to litter pick across this newly acquired land. Together, we’ll help prevent injury to wildlife and restore this part of the nature reserve to good condition.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Take part in looking after your local, natural greenspace
  • Speak to the wardens looking after Upton Heath
  • Meet your local community
  • Explore Upton Heath nature reserve

All equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as gloves, litter pickers and refuse bags, for these events will be provided.
