Sponsored by the Knoll Gardens Foundation, Neil's talk will share the story of how his naturalistic planting style has opened the door to wildlife.  It will be followed by a Q & A session featuring a panel of wildlife experts, so bring your gardening questions to pick up all you need to go to get your garden buzzing. The Allendale Centre, Wimborne. Tickets £8 for adults, £5 for children (under 16's). To book visit www.theallendale.org or ring 01202 887247.   With thanks to Wimborne DWT members' group.

One of Britain's leading plantsmen, Neil Lucas is a world authority on ornamental grasses, owner of Dorset-based Knoll Gardens, RHS Council Member and Judge, author, and holder of ten consecutive Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medals.

When not judging, lecturing, writing or plant hunting overseas, Neil can be found on his nursery or tending his highly acclaimed naturalistic garden at Knoll.

A long-time admirer of the beauty and utility of grasses for the last 20 years Neil has been developing his own planting ethos based on the principles that work so successfully in nature. In 2008 he established a charity, The Knoll Gardens Foundation, to further test these gardening principles and promote their benefits to the gardener, the garden and its wildlife.
