Wild Seas Centre Volunteer

Reference: spd2088
Dorset Wildlife Trust is looking for new volunteers aged 18 and over to join our lively and welcoming team at the Fine Foundation Wild Seas Centre, Kimmeridge. They will help man the visitor centre, assist the staff in leading school visits and public seashore events, and promote support for the marine environment and its conservation in a variety of ways. Volunteers must be reliable; enthusiastic about our marine and coastal environment; able to talk to and engage visitors; and work well with other volunteers in the team.

A minimum of 2 days per month of your time is required in return for a free programme of regular talks, activities and events to broaden your knowledge about the wildlife and heritage of the area and its conservation.

There will be an introductory session at the Wild Seas Centre in early February, where you will have a chance to meet the staff and volunteers who will be happy to answer your questions. There will also be an opportunity to apply for the volunteer positions.
