Dorset Wildlife Trust’s East Dorset Living Landscapes Team delivers conservation and community engagement work across east Dorset and Purbeck. You will be based at the Urban Wildlife Centre in Corfe Mullen, with some activities at other East Dorset centres including Brownsea Island and Kimmeridge. Own car essential.
Tasks will include assisting at our visitor centres and with community engagement activities for a wide range of ages; assisting with our work with people with physical/mental health issues; assisting with social media, website and other publicity; helping with campaigns and conservation projects. There will be opportunities to get involved with other aspects of our work, including practical work parties. This Community Conservation Voluntary Placement is for 3/4 days per week for six months from July 2019 but the role would also be suitable for a full time student industrial placement. Closing date : Sunday 30th June 2019.
