Come and relish the colourful and buzzing embroidery of some of the Marshwood Vale's most beautiful wild flower meadows on a walk between Babers Farm and Valehouse meadow. Along the way, Nick Gray will talks about the wild flower species' characteristics and folklore and tell of DWT's conservation endeavours with landowners on the landscape scale and we will be accompanied by local farmer Jim Strawbridge. Meet at 10.30. We will park at Babers Farm, SY384988, (near) DT6 5PZ. There will be a 2-hour walk around the stunning Babers meadows followed by a shepherds hut picnic lunch at lovely Valehouse meadow - tea and cake provided; please bring sandwiches.
