Green Team is a new project aimed at opening the door for young people to experience conservation and wildlife volunteering over the summer months. It is aimed at volunteers aged 16 or over, although we will also consider work experience pupils from school registered with the work experience programme for year 10 students. Volunteers aged 16/17 will require a parental consent form to be completed before we are able to offer any Green Team places.
Green Team will be based at our Urban Wildlife Centre at Corfe Mullen and will operate Mon - Thur from 9.30am. The team will take on a variety of tasks and activities centred around conservation work in the County. Examples of the sort of work are: Fencing, digging ponds, restoring paths, surveys, events and litter picking/beach cleans.
Places are limited for this exciting and rewarding project. If you are interested in being considered for Green Team please complete the enquiry form below. We will then contact you to discuss availability and will also arrange a suitable time/date for an informal interview session.
Please do call us on 01202 692 033 and ask for Noel or email if you have any queries. You can also download the FAQ page for more information.
When you have completed the form, please click the Send Details button ONCE to send. The submitted data will be held in line with the Data Protection Act. It will not be divulged to any other organisation, and will only be used for the purpose of assisting in placement arrangements.
