How well do you know your neighbourhood?

How well do you know your neighbourhood?Dorset Wildlife Trust has a few gaps in the distribution areas for our newsletter deliveries - and we are asking for volunteers to help.

With some 12000+ copies of the Newsletter to be distributed every few months, mainly by hand, you can imagine the organisation that goes on to ensure this operation runs smoothly.  It's thanks to our membership team of Debbie and Elaine that we are able to pull of such a feat.

Lack of volunteers - we need your help!

There are headaches of course, and the main one at the moment is a lack of volunteers to deliver in key areas of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Dorchester.  Of course, there are other areas and Debbie is also keen to build up a reserve list of deliverers that she can call on in case of holiday, illness etc.

The role of the deliverer is to collect your batch of newsletters from a local pick up point in your area, and then simply take a stroll delievering them to the address on the envelope. You can of course let us know the sort of numbers or size of area that you are happy to cover.

If you would like to give it a go, please contact Debbie by email at or call the memebership team on 01305 264620 to discuss it further.
