Wildlife Celebration Day at Talbot Heath Nature Reserve

Meet up with representatives from DWT at this Wildlife Celebration Day organised by the Borough of Poole.
The Borough of Poole's heathland team are holding their first ever Wildlife Celebration day at Talbot Heath Nature Reserve. There's a full schedule of guided wildlife walks throughout the day, from moths to mammals and snakes to spiders, with something for everyone.
Come for a session which is of interest to you or stay for the whole day and find out about them all!
Marvellous moths - 9 am onwards
Reptile ramble - 10am
Brilliant birds - 11am
Butterflies, dragonflies and plant life - 1pm
Spectacular spiders - 2pm
Marvellous mammals - 3pm
At the event base camp there will be live animals to meet including incredible birds of prey, and you can pick up a wildlife activity pack for children to enjoy whilst exploring the reserve. This event and all guided sessions/activituies are FREE! The basecamp and meeting point for all walks is the Mayford Road entrance to Talbot Heath (nearest postcode BH12 1QA).
