Leave a gift in your Will

Leave a gift in your Will

Protect the wildlife you love in Dorset, for future generations

Imagine leaving a gift that truly lasts for generations. A gift that allows others to enjoy Dorset’s wildlife and wild places for years to come - just like you do now. A gift that will provide a wilder future for the people, places and wildlife of Dorset.

Leaving a gift in your Will to Dorset Wildlife Trust could make that difference.

How your gift could help

Increasingly our supporters are making the incredible decision to leave a gift to Dorset Wildlife Trust in their Will.

Your gift, no matter the size, allows your passion for nature to live on and ensure those following in your footsteps can experience the amazing wildlife that calls Dorset home. Every legacy allows us to protect and buy more nature reserves, save more species, and ensure that future generations can experience and enjoy nature.

Every single gift we receive is hugely important and makes a vital contribution to our work. You can be confident that your legacy will make a real difference and will be put to good use meeting the most urgent conservation needs.

Here is a short video from our Dorset Wildlife Trust President, George McGavin, to tell you what your legacy could mean for us.

How to include a gift in your Will

Leaving a gift in your Will is something you can do now, that will cost you nothing, but which will make a huge difference to the future of Dorset’s wildlife. To make a new Will or update an existing one, you will need to speak to a solicitor. You may have a family solicitor you already use. If not, ask a relative or friend to recommend one. Or you can write your Will with our Free Will Service.

Leaving just 1% to Dorset Wildlife Trust in your Will can make a huge difference, and means your loved ones still receive 99%.

To leave a gift to Dorset Wildlife Trust in your Will, you will need our registered address and charity number:
