Crab Watch: search for & record crabs on the seashore
Wednesday 17 April 2019 11:00 - 13:00
How much do you know about these crazy crustaceans? Come to the Wild Seas Centre to learn more about crabs, the different species that can be found and how to record them. Then join us for a seashore expedition to search for crabs and carry out a Crab Watch survey. Crab Watch is a citizen science initiative to learn about the changing distribution of native and non-native crabs. All data collected during this survey will contribute to the project. Once you have participated in this session why not download the app and have a go at surveying your local shore? For more information see: http://www.mba.ac.uk/crabwatch/
