About the event

Please note this is an online-only talk for Dorset Wildlife Trust members.

In the UK, our insect populations have suffered drastic declines, which are set to have far-reaching consequences for both wildlife and people. Join us for an exclusive member event hosted by Dorset Wildlife Trust’s President, Dr George McGavin.

Dr George McGavin is a zoologist, entomologist and broadcaster. Best known for hosting documentaries including ‘Lost Land of the Volcano’, ‘Oak Tree: Nature’s Greatest Survivor’ and, most recently, ‘Ocean Autopsy: The Secret Story of Our Seas’, he is also well known to television viewers for his frequent appearances on BBC One’s ‘The One Show’.

Join us for a fascinating evening of all things pollinators, as George explores insect biodiversity, Action for Insects, and why protecting and restoring nature is more essential than ever.
