Not suitable for children under 14.

Brownsea is owned by the National Trust. You will need to pay entry to the island if you are not a member. Boat tickets can be bought separately from the orange Greenslade Pleasure Boats kiosk on Poole Quay.
The boat will depart the Quay at 10am prompt. Please arrive in plenty of time to buy a ticket and board.

What to bring

Please wear sturdy walking shoes or boots as parts of the castle grounds can be quite steep. 
Dress for the weather as we will be outside for the duration of the walk. 
Binoculars, magnifying loupes, ID guides, camera, notebook if needed.

We will be mainly on gravel paths but there is one steep hill in the castle grounds.
Apologies not suitable for wheelchair users.
