About the event

Join us on this family event at Lorton Meadows nature reserve for a morning dedicated to the fascinating world of minibeasts. We supply the nets, trays and charts - you supply the kids. In the shade of our nearby woodland, they can explore the fascinating world of beetles, centipedes, spiders and worms at our popular bug hunting session. If wind and weather conditions allow we may also venture out to meadow-sweep for flying bugs and butterflies. The staff and volunteers will help you identify the bugs, beetles and other wildlife that are found.
