About the event

Join the Dorset Wildlife Trust team for a fun guided walk around the nature reserve to find out more about our wonderful wildlife and the work we do to help look after it.

Meet outside The Lookout at 11am. The walk should take about 1.5hrs

Donations welcome towards conservation work on the island

Additional booking information

The island is owned by the National Trust. Boats run from Poole Quay. Tickets can be purchased from Greenslade Pleasure Boats kiosk on the Quay

National Trust members get free admission to the island on production of a valid membership card

Dorset Wildlife Trust members get free admission to the island if visiting the Dorset Wildlife Trust nature reserve

The walk will take place on flat, even paths and boardwalks

We will go ahead with the walk unless the weather is extremely hot or extremely wet. Please check beforehand if you are unsure.
