About the event

Join us for a guided bird walk to spot some of the waders and sea birds found along Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon.

Throughout the guided walk we will aim to spot as many species of birds as possible, and following a falling tide offers the best chance to see many of our waders and maybe some early returning brent geese. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and more information about the nature reserve will be given throughout the walk.
Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start time.

What to bring

Please bring with you binoculars and if you have a telescope, that may be useful too. We do have a very limited number of binoculars to borrow and there will also be use of a telescope.
Sturdy footwear (eg walking boots) is recommended as we will be going over some uneven ground, and as the site is fairly exposed, please bring with you plenty of warm clothing and waterproofs just in case!
