About the event

The morning will be divided into two separate hour-long sessions. This listing is for the 12.00pm–1.00pm session only. If you would like to attend the earlier 10.30am–11.30am session, please refer to the other listing.

With help from Wildlife Trust staff and accompanying adults, each child will assemble their nest box kit, which they can take home with them. We provide all the materials and tools required, as well as advice on where to site the box, aftercare and more.

What to bring

The event takes place indoors, but please bring what you need for the weather on the day, such as hats, coats and drinking water.

Safety Information
This event is suitable for families with children aged 4 to 15. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Hand tools, including screwdrivers and hammers, will be used throughout the activity. Children must be accompanied and assisted by a responsible adult when using these tools.

There is a large pay and display car park (Chesil Beach Pay & Display) next to the Wild Chesil Centre. Please note, parking charges are not included in the event ticket cost.
