Dorset Wildlife Trust is offering a unique opportunity to play a lead role in wildlife conservation and engagement in one of the country’s stand out locations. Part of the Purbeck Heaths National Nature Reserve and an internationally significant wildlife site, Brownsea Island hosts arguably one of the best arrays of wildlife in Britain.

We are looking for someone to lead the wildlife conservation management of DWT’s Poole Harbour Nature Reserves, on Brownsea Island and Lytchett Bay, to help them reach their full potential for their internationally important biodiversity and public engagement. Lead on the planning and delivery of practical work to implement reserve management plans, engage volunteers in conservation tasks and ensure requirements of grant schemes are met. Assist in successful partnership working to achieve DWTs aims for nature recovery and public engagement through Island-wide initiatives and functioning Poole Harbour Nature Parks.
