About the event

As spring arrives join our knowledgeable Dorset Wildlife Trust staff for an introduction to the bird life found on the nature reserve. From blue tits and swallows to woodpeckers and marsh harriers, Lorton plays host to a wide range of birds. 

Meet at the Louviers Road entrance (What 3 words: ///icicles.totally.surcharge) Suitable for beginners, the walk will last between 1-1.5 hours. 

Free session for residents of Littlemoor and the surrounding areas, kindly funded by Abri.

The event will include walking across some uneven terrain and is therefore unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

There will be uneven and possibly muddy paths, so please wear suitable footwear or wellies if possible. 

Please note there are no facilities (water, toilets etc.) at this meeting point.
