About the event

Did you know there are about 50 species of butterfly in the UK, but a staggering 2,000 species of moth? 

Come along and find out more about these amazing inverts as we record and release the catch from last night's trap. 

Starting at 11am in the Dorset Wildlife Trust gazebo on Church Field.

No need to book for the event, just pop along to Church Field from 11am.

Boats run from Poole Quay. You will need to pay for your ferry and entrance onto the island. Free entry for National Trust members.

You're welcome to bring your own magnifiers or bug viewers but we will have plenty to hand.

This is an outdoor event. Please dress for the weather.

The event will be held on Church Field a short flat walk from the main island jetty.
