Joining our corporate community

Joining Dorset Wildlife Trust as a Corporate Member is not only a fantastic way to support local wildlife, but great for your business too! Inspire and engage your staff, customers and stakeholders by showing your company is committed to helping local wildlife, protecting the environment and fighting for nature's recovery in your local area.

Our corporate supporters

Of course, the biggest benefit of corporate membership is to support the work of Dorset Wildlife Trust in protecting Dorset’s wildlife and wild places but there are lots more reasons to join us.

Benefits for your staff

Connecting with nature has a positive impact on our wellbeing and corporate membership enables you to offer benefits such as half-price membership for your staff so that they can explore and enjoy our visitor centres and nature reserves including Brownsea free of charge (not including the ferry crossing). Not to mention volunteering opportunities, guided walks, wildlife talks, discounted animal adoption schemes and engagement activities. With the Wildlife Partner membership package, your staff have the unique opportunity to take part in an annual Corporate Volunteer Team Day.

A commercial advantage

  • Discounted advertising in Dorset Wildlife Trust’s membership magazine, Dorset Wildlife (27,500 members in Dorset and constantly growing)
  • Hyperlinks to your website
  • Use of Dorset Wildlife Trust's logo
  • Discounted meeting room hire at our centres
  • Sponsorship opportunities including our hugely popular wildlife webcams, nature reserves and public events.
  • Collaboration on key Dorset conservation projects with the associated PR benefits.

Access to conservation advice

Joining as a Wildlife Partner gives you access to expert conservation advice, including mitigation for development planning and management of your own grounds or land. This can help you fulfil your corporate social responsibility policy for local projects, key to Dorset’s conservation and communities.

Corporate Volunteering Day

As a Wildlife Partner, you are entitled to one free Corporate Volunteer Team Day each year. Taking everyone out of the workplace for the day to work together on one of our stunning nature reserves offers the perfect way to bring your staff together to build the team and their sense of wellbeing and achievement. Each day is bespoke so you can choose the reserve, the date and the tasks to suit your staff – we’ll provide all the equipment, expert leadership and supervision and make sure that the team have a great day out!

Companies across Dorset are enjoying the benefits of corporate membership – we offer a choice of two packages to suit your needs, as well as a range of sponsorship options.
