Fundraising consultant - Wild Brownsea project

Ref: wildbrown1
Type: Contract
Location: Brooklands Farm, Forston, Dorchester
Salary:  Fixed term contract up to £12,000

The role of the Fundraising Consultant is to secure up to £120,000 to match a Heritage Lottery Fund grant for the Wild Brownsea project. Wild Brownsea is a discrete project, led by Dorset Wildlife Trust (DWT), in partnership with the National Trust.

DWT has received round 1 approval and funding for the development of the project. There is a requirement to raise around £120,000 by March 2019, to match the round 2 funding proposal.

It is expected that the match funding will primarily be raised through a public appeal, with opportunities for securing support from corporates, major donors and grants and trusts.

The consultant will work closely with the project leader and DWT fundraising team and will need to have a breadth of fundraising experience.

Tenders need to be returned to Alastair Cook and Brian Bleese by the end of Friday 13th April 2018. Tender interviews will take place in the weeks commencing 23rd or 30th April. The commencement of services is expected during May 2018.
