30 Days Wild

1 - 30 June 2023

The UK's month-long nature challenge

30 Days Wild is The Wildlife Trusts' annual nature challenge where we ask the nation to do one 'wild' thing a day every day throughout June.

Across Dorset, there are so many opportunities to connect with nature from the beautiful Jurassic coast to chalk streams, forests, heaths and meadows. Your daily wild activities can be anything you like - you might be having breakfast with the birds on Monday, feeling the grass between your toes on Tuesday, watching wildlife webcams on Wednesday - or taking part in our 2023 photography competition on the Thursday. There’s no set structure, so you can take part in a way that suits you. Alongside benefiting your local wildlife, taking part in 30 Days Wild is scientifically proven to make you feel happier, healthier, and more connected to nature.

Anyone can take part in 30 Days Wild, we even have resources for schools, care homes and businesses. Sign up today and receive a FREE pack in the post, plus lots of inspiration for activities.

Don't forget to tag Dorset Wildlife Trust and include #30DaysWild in your daily 'wild acts'. We will also be posting lots of inspiration from our social media platforms to keep June wild, so make sure you give us a follow. We can’t wait to see what WILD things you all get up to!

Wildlife events at Dorset Wildlife Trust this June

I can't wait to get involved with 30 Days Wild challenge this summer. I’m really into birds and birdwatching so I'll be on the lookout for some special sightings but also love finding new ways to reconnect with nature.
