About the event

Everything that washes up on the beach has a story to tell. Join our beachcombing expert as we wander along the shoreline to discover what fascinating items have washed in and what this tells us about the wildlife living under the sea in Kimmeridge Bay. Learn about ocean drifters such as Portuguese man of war, exotic sea beans, mermaid's purses and the problems posed by marine litter. We will collect any litter we see and find out what we can all do to help marine wildlife. Then adjourn to the picture-box Clavells Restaurant in Kimmeridge village for well-earned hot soup and a sandwich.
