A youth engagement event for those aged 12+ with a free lunch and creative workshops. Dorset Wildlife Trust, Dorset Peat Partnership and Peat -Fest South West are hosting a one day community engagement as part of Dorset Heaths week. We would love to see you !

About the event

09:45-10:00 arrive at the UWC and have a look at the moths trapped overnight.10:15- Guided walk to Upton Heath with the DWT reserves rangers and Dorset Peat Partnership project manager.12pm Lunch break back the UWC, all provided for.1pm- Session 1 Fun workshop with RE-PEAT including song writing with Dorset musician.2pm - Refreshments & chill14:30pm - Session 2 of the creative workshop, mossy carpet.3:30pm Creative workshop summaries & sharing4pm Event closes.

Wear suitable shoes and clothing for an outdoor walk on the heath. Bring sun protection, cream, hat and a bottle of water. Safety Information: A Risk Assessment will be carried out.
