About the event

Here on Brownsea we are lucky to have hundreds of very special resident and migrant species. Come and join us as we investigate just some of these amazing creatures. A day of nature-themed activities, interaction and inspiration! Join in with pond dipping sessions (11am-12am and 1.30pm-2.30pm) Meet the team from BARI (Birds and Recreation Initiative) and take part in wildlife themed activities (11am-3pm) Help us record and release the moths from the previous night (weather permitting) 11am until all moths released. See nature under the microscope in our brand new Wildlife and Wetland Centre Nature Lab (11am – 3pm) Take part in wildlife arts and crafts (11am – 3pm) Have a go at Bird Bingo in the hides.

Most of the island tracks are surfaced, but some may be muddy or uneven in places. The pond dipping platform can get a little muddy during use.
