About the event

Join us for a short walk to spot some of the wildlife found along Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon.

The walk is a great introduction to Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon which are internationally important areas for nature conservation, supporting a great diversity of wildlife and their associated habitats.

Suitable for the whole family. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

What to bring

Please wear sturdy footwear e.g. walking shoes/boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring binoculars if you have them although we will have a few pairs available to borrow.

Parking information

There is a large council-owned pay and display car park (Chesil Beach Pay & Display) next to the Wild Chesil Centre. Public transport: The number 1 bus runs regularly between Weymouth and Portland. The closest bus stop is at Ferrybridge.
