About the event

Join Abi Mustard, our Community Ranger at The Wild Chesil Centre's Bird Viewing Platform to look out for some of the nature reserve's birds and other species. Find out more about the importance of Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon for local wildlife and conservation and learn how to identify different species of birds.

These will be drop-in sessions and will be held every Monday and Wednesday starting from Monday 20 October*. The timings for these sessions are:

  • Mondays - 11am to 1pm
  • Wednesdays - 2pm to 4pm

No booking is required for these sessions - just drop by and stay for as long as you wish.

Please note, these events are weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice. Call The Fine Foundation Wild Chesil Centre on 01305 206191 if you are unsure.

*These sessions will not run on Monday 24 November, Wednesday 26 November, Monday 1 December and Wednesday 10 December.

What to bring

If you have binoculars and/or a telescope please bring those with you. There will be a shared telescope that you can use and a couple of binoculars that you can borrow.
