About the event

Join us to discover more about the remarkable migratory birds that return each year to the buildings at the Kingcombe Visitor Centre. We host a visiting population of both swifts and swallows, and this event offers the chance to survey their numbers while learning how we can all support their conservation.
The session will begin with a short talk, followed by an introduction to basic survey skills. We’ll then take a gentle stroll around the surrounding nature reserve to see if we can spot these birds feeding above the beautiful wildflower meadows.
