About the event

Join us at High Angle Battery on Portland for an evening bat walk. As dusk arrives we will search for bats emerging from the "ghost tunnels" (as they are known locally) using hand held bat detectors. There are two species seen regularly - pipistrelles and the rarer great horseshoe bat. Portland is also known for glow worms, but who knows what we might see (probably no ghosts).
