About the event

Join us for a guided bird walk to spot some of the wildfowl, waders and sea birds found along Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon.

Throughout the walk, we will aim to spot as many species of birds as possible. Following a falling tide offers the best chance to see some of our wader species, including dunlin, ringed plover and oystercatchers. There may be brent geese returning for the winter, and possibly birds of prey hunting the mudflats. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and more information about the nature reserve will be given throughout the walk.

The walk will start at 09:00 and will last for approximately 1.5 hours. Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start time.
