The Dorset Wildlife (DWT) Trust prize draw is returning for 2019, with some fantastic prizes for people who want to help support Dorset’s wildlife and wild spaces.

The prizes have been kindly donated by local businesses.  The 1st prize is an exclusive 2-night B&B stay for 2 in one of five selected stunning Dorset Hall & Woodhouse Inns, with a case of beer and £250 cash.  The 2nd prize is an exclusive day for 6 people at Sculpture by the Lakes, including time on a private island, a bottle of sparkling wine, plus 1 year’s membership to Friends of Sculpture by the Lakes for a couple.  The 3rd prize is a duo of drinks from Conker Spirit including Dorset Dry Gin and Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, and 6 bespoke gin glasses.

The 2018 DWT prize draw raised over £5,000 which helped go towards surveying our rare mammals such as dormice and bats in west Dorset.  The money from this year’s prize draw will go towards continuing this work.

DWT’s Fundraising Officer, Clare Busby said, “Following the success of the prize draw last year, we are doing it again, with some new and exciting prizes for the lucky winners!  Each £1 ticket purchased will go towards raising vital funds for Dorset Wildlife Trust’s conservation work, enabling us to continue to care for habitats, support dedicated volunteers to help with daily tasks and to educate people about the importance of looking after wildlife on our doorsteps.”

Sarah Pace, Badger Beer Brand Manager at Hall and Woodhouse said, “We are happy to be able to support the work of Dorset Wildlife Trust by donating the first prize in their Prize Draw this year, and look forward to welcoming the winners to one of our Dorset Inns for a relaxing breakaway and a pint of one of our fantastic Badger cask ales”.

Tickets cost just £1 each.  The draw will take place on 11th September 2019.  Buy your tickets* by 9th September to be in with a chance of winning.

You can also buy paperless tickets online here or visit one of our visitor centres in Dorset to purchase your tickets.
