30 Days Wild

Sign up for 30 Days Wild 2024

The UK's biggest nature challenge!

30 Days Wild is The Wildlife Trusts' annual challenge event, where everyone involved does one wild thing a day throughout the month of June.

We’re excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 30 Days Wild with YOU this year. Across Dorset, there are loads of opportunities to connect with nature from the beautiful Jurassic coast to chalk streams, woodlands, heaths and meadows. Your daily wild activities can be anything you like - you might be having breakfast with the birds on Monday, feeling the grass between your toes on Tuesday, listening to our Wildlife Matters podcast on Wednesday - or taking part in our 2024 photography competition on the Thursday. There’s no set structure, so you can take part in a way that suits you.

Anyone can take part in 30 Days Wild, we even have resources for schools, care homes and businesses. Sign up today and receive a FREE pack in the post, plus lots of inspiration for activities.

Don't forget to tag Dorset Wildlife Trust and include #30DaysWild in your daily 'wild acts'. We will also be posting lots of inspiration from our social media platforms to keep June wild, so make sure you give us a follow. We can’t wait to see what WILD things you all get up to!

What's in your free pack?

To help you on your way, we will provide you with a FREE pack of goodies to inspire your wild month when you sign up, including a free packet of herb seeds and a butterfly ID poster. We’ve got special packs for those taking part at their school, care home, or workplace, too.

Why take part?

It's not just wildlife that benefits during 30 Days Wild, you'll feel great too! Taking part in 30 Days Wild is scientifically proven to make you feel happier, healthier, and more connected to nature. More than three-quarters of a million people got involved with 30 Days Wild across the UK last year, from families and couples, to teachers, care homes and workplaces, join them this year and rekindle that precious relationship with the natural world.... everyone's invited!
