Do you have a passion for wildlife and flair for communicating?

Would you like to inspire the next generation to care about wildlife on Brownsea Island?

We are looking for volunteer assistants to help with our popular Schools Activity Trips for a range of ages – mostly primary and junior schools. You will support our Schools Staff Lead in running a range of fun nature-based activities for children such as sensory squirrel walks, pond dipping and moth traps.

Full support and coaching will be given. You need an ability to engage, enthuse & empathise with young people from all backgrounds. Passion for nature and the environment is essential as well as a willingness to undertake a DBS check.
We particularly welcome enquiries from people with experience in teaching, youth work or similar.
