About the event

Join us on a guided walk along Hamm Beach nature reserve for an afternoon dedicated to butterflies. As summer warms up and wildflowers burst into bloom we will take a walk around this lesser known area of the Chesil and Fleet nature reserve looking for butterfly species feeding on nectar. Our staff and volunteers will help you identify the butterflies and other wildlife we see along the way.

This event is suitable for adults and families with children from 4 to 15 years old.

Please be aware that there may be areas of uneven muddy ground so sturdy footwear is recommended. Also bring what you need (hats, coats, drinking water etc) and wear clothing appropriate to weather on the day.
